Sliquid began as an intimate lubricant company, created by founder Dean Elliott. As they say, necessity is the mother of all invention, and Dean’s wife was one of the many women who have sensitivities to glycerin and the other questionable ingredients commonly used in lubricants, such as parabens. In fact, most Sliquid lubricants are formulated with just five ingredients. Instead of glycerin, Sliquid uses plant cellulose derived from organic cotton as well as guar conditioners to give their lubes their super slippery quality.
